LEGACY is an accessible quality fashion brand created by Legacy Trendy City LLC, a Texas-registered company founded by David Amah. We design everyday and active fashion products for customers who want genuine quality without paying inflated prices for a name.

Why LEGACY Exists

The fashion market gives most customers two options, and neither is honest.

Fast fashion is priced low because it is built cheap. Fabrics thin out after a few washes, seams pull apart, and shapes collapse. The price reflects the build, not the value.

Premium and luxury fashion is priced high, but much of that price is not in the product. It is in the logo, the marketing, and the idea of exclusivity. Customers often pay for status, not for a better-made product.

LEGACY was created as the honest alternative. Better materials, better construction, fair pricing, no logo tax.

What LEGACY Makes

LEGACY designs everyday clothing, activewear, and lifestyle fashion products for women and men. Our range includes hoodies, joggers, sweatpants, tank tops, matching sets, hoodie dresses, and everyday tops and bottoms. Everything is developed around real wardrobe use: workdays, weekends, travel, movement, and rest.

Each product is made to solve a real problem, not to fill a seasonal trend calendar.

Problem-solving design

How We Design

Good design should solve real problems. It should not just photograph well.

One example is our approach to hood construction. Most hooded garments are designed without thinking about customers who wear braids, twists, locs, curls, wigs, or fuller protective hairstyles. Standard hoods are too narrow, too shallow, and too stiff. They flatten hairstyles and make customers choose between comfort and their look.

LEGACY redesigned its hood construction specifically for real hair. We added depth and structure to the hood panel and lined the interior with satin, so the garment works for the customer, not against them.

That decision added development cost. We made it anyway, because a product that does not work for the customer is not a product worth selling under the LEGACY name.

That is the standard we apply to every product we develop.

Our Sourcing

LEGACY works with certified manufacturing partners and prioritizes certified organic cotton and natural fibres where they genuinely serve the product. Where a garment requires a blended fabric for stretch, shape retention, or performance, synthetic content is used deliberately, not as a cost shortcut.

Our customers deserve to know what their products are made from and why. We do not hide behind vague claims.

The Standard Behind Every Product

LEGACY was founded on one operating principle: treat people the way you would want to be treated.

That principle governs how every product is evaluated. The founder and his family must be willing to use what LEGACY sells. If a product does not clear that personal bar, it does not ship under the LEGACY name.
